About The Creator,
Diane Hamel
During her 26-year reign of terror as a graphic communicator in a conservative
FORTUNE 500 company, Diane Hamel spun out award-winning annual reports,
games, books, logos, promotional materials, displays, special events and
much, much more.
A.C. (After Corporate), Ms. Hamel formed Great Ideas 2 Go, also known as
GITGO, and went back to her basics as a graphic communicator, writing, designing
and producing creative materials seen internationally. The Baltimore-based
business specializes in producing custom-created solutions in a variety of
media to address communications needs.
She developed NO MAN’S LAND — Where the
Wisest Women Win© in
response to watching women howl at jokes about the opposite sex at that nice
conservative company where she had previously worked. It was a great stress
reliever in an all-too-serious environment. To her, the game was a natural
outcome that had a ready–made audience.
She firmly believes “Humor is one of God’s gifts for getting
us through the craziness of this world.” She hopes that NO MAN’S
LAND will draw women together and provide some witty perspectives on male/female
relationships while offering great, light-hearted entertainment.
Single for more than 20 years, Ms. Hamel has had lots of close-up experience watching men and women interact. She cleverly showcases the quirkiness of the human species in NO MAN’S LAND.
